that is a really weak tempest reference. so much so that you coild pretty much say anything was a reference to a shakespeare play...

but good question.

i think people say hell as well... but yes. i don't usually write them using other swear words (i think) except to talk about sex... although it's probably not entirely right that i do this.

and yet you were the one to write it! almost. i haven't actually seen that many mpreg avon fics. like... two. one was really bad, and the other was really sad and poorly explained. maybe you would like avon mpreg if it wasn't shit ;) although i do think mpreg is creepy. but i also think, as much as you don't like ot see avon disappointed, i love to put avon into terrible situations that make him have too many feelings. so more than anyone else (i have never been tempted before), i am semi tempted...

my advice is to find an incredibly talented scientist with an inferiority complex and then misclassify him as a lower grade than his ability merits. he will then perform above his already considerable ability, produce the weapon you crave, and run away from the authorities - at which point you can pick up the weapon and live happily ever after (unlike everyone else!). if you need more information, please contact me personally. i can definitely help with this. i suggest you find him and tell him how you really feel. unless there's some reason that this isn't a good plan that you haven't told me. if you're still worried, perhaps look back at your previous relationships and see if there is anything you can learn from how they turned out.

i'm worried that my boss is making increasingly irrational and dangerous decisions. i do appreciate that he's trying to do what he thinks is right, and i don't want to leave him, but really - pretending to be a bounty hunter to try and recruit freedom fighters? that's a VERY DANGEROUS scheme. and it's highly irrational! what should i do??

first i'd suggest giving me fewer clues to your identity! though it does help me to answer your question. tell blake to reconsider his scheme ASAP! i sense DEADLY DANGER afoot if he continues down this path. also, tell him to beware of a certain man in black. i fear he is a little too invested at this point.

"Puppeteers have been wrong in the past," Blake said. He took the paper from Deva's hand, glanced at it, stared more closely, and sighed. "I'm more worried that you've given away our location to a known associate of the Federation. Are we going to have to move again?"

"Never mind about the move!" Deva said hecticly. He stabbed at the paper with a finger. "Did you see? He used capital letters for deadly danger. Blake, you have to stop this-"

"Deva, he's working for the Federation," Blake said. "He only told you this was an awful plan to make us stop it. Trust me - nothing can go wrong. And besides," Blake said with a smile, "Travis is dead. He should really check his facts before he makes these predictions." He threw the paper back on the table, and went out in search of the girl named Arlen.

I love that Carnell's advice to Avon is completely sensible and good advice columnist advice, but also specifically applicable to him. And also totally not going to help at all.

Also, Blake's 7 is one big lost Shakespeare play anyway. In space. And Blake and Avon are Brutus and Cassius, except not. ;-p There's a lot of Henry V stuff going on sometimes with Blake (leadership and responsibility and who's to blame for the fighting and death and so on.)

(You know the BBC Shakespeare also has Servalan as Mariana in Measure for Measure... so when I watched it I spent a lot of time considering how she was most likely to murder Angelo once she got him home, because obviously she's not going to put up with that kind of crap.)

I love thinking about why Blake didn't come back. I think there's so many reasons that it could have been ... I've never quite decided why yet (haven't listened to the Big Finish version yet. It waits!)

Mission to Destiny is great! It's so much fun and I love a good murder mystery and Avon's really cool in it - it's just great. Not the most Blake's 7y of Blake's 7 episodes but great.

Avon absolutely only got handsomer, he is at his most gorgeous in Season 4 (although I think part of that is that they have learned how to shoot him by then, the make up has changed a lot)

I have not found much Avon mpreg. And do not want to particularly!

Hmmm. Dear Carnell, I want to reconnect with an old friend I haven't seen for a few years. I am a little anxious that we might have both changed since them. Do you think the best thing to do would be to kidnap one of his friends, tell that friend I intend to sell them all as slaves or something like that and then let things play out?

We seem to be thinking along the same lines! I also haven't heard that audio yet. Not sure I will...I'm generally not that much of an audio person. Paracanon is usually less fun to me than straight up fanfic, although I really like several of these BFAs (the Avon & Tarrant one and False Positive, particularly, although "Kerr" gave me some fun new Avon backstory to play with)

I not only read it, I own it. I look at it now and then and roll my eyes and laugh. My husband and I discuss the specifics of the double bladed serrated knife quite often. Evil effeminate albinos, not so much.
